Your responsibilities

• To provide the design of formwork, shoring and scaffolding solutions using PERI products in accordance with PERI guidelines and practices, as well in accordance with Australian/New Zealand standards whilst maintaining efficient and effective use of time.
• Provide technical advice on all PERI products to customers and associates PERI employees.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and following workplace health and safety, quality rules and country regulations.
• Actively promote the supply of leading technical service and leadership by example.
• Develop an understanding of PERI’s products and Technical design strategies.
• Assist the Engineering Manager with the everyday running of the department including but not limited to reviewing designs, assigning workload and recruitment and development of Technical staff.

 

Your profile

• Ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• A depth of experience in a similar role, working with all aspects of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding designs.
• Experience in management and staff development (desirable for senior design role).
• Highly skilled at coaching and mentoring engineers and developing team dynamic.
• In-depth knowledge of PERIcad, RSTAB and the various design tools available.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.
• Ability to work in a team and has a positive working attitude.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
