The VRB truss girder is mainly used in bridge construction as shhoring of spans from 25 up to 40 m. It is characterized in particular by its extremely high load-bearing capacity – up to 3.000 kNm – at a relatively low dead weight.
Efficient use of materials
Accelerated construction processes throug reduced amount of trusses due to high load bearing capacity.
Quick length adjustment
Simple adjustment of the truss lengths to suit changing span widths with a minimum of different frames
High degree of safety
Integrable solutions for working platforms and access means with the PERI UP modular scaffold
The system consists of different types of load and length optimized frames, which enable to continuously create every span with the corresponding combination.
A distinction is made between
Bearing Frame
for transferring the loads into the heavy-duty shoring towers
Coupling Joint Frame
for higher shear forces close to the support as well as for use at intermediate supports and coupling joints
Standard Frame
for use in the middle span
Standardized and centric connection of horizontal and vertical bracings enable optimal utilization of the load bearing capacity and lead to efficient material input.
